Dr. Liban Hassan, MBBS, MD, MPH
Dr Liban Hassan Mohamud, MBBS, MPH in Hospital Management, TQM, PGDMU. Quality Director at Al Ihsan Specialist Hospital. Chairman Central Committee Somali Medical Association Lecturer Jazeera University Mogadishu Somalia. Dr. Liban has over 10 years of healthcare experience. Expertise includes hospital performance improvement, patient safety, clinical governance, infection prevention, and surgical outcome optimization. Dr Liban has additional training in healthcare quality management, ICDL, data-driven performance analysis, and evidence-based hospital policy development.
Dr. Lul Mohamud Mohamed, MBBS, MD Pediatrics, MPH
Dr. Lul Mohamud, is the dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at Jazeera University, and President of the Somali Medical Association. Dr. Lul is an experienced medical professional with a specialization in pediatrics. Her career includes significant leadership roles, having served as the former Board Director of Jazeera University Hospital and the former Hospital Director of Banadir Hospital. She has extensive experience in both medical education and hospital administration, with a focus on pediatric care and medical leadership.
Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, MD
Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim is a health professional with a career in medicine and public health. He graduated from the Benadir university in Mogadishu in 2019, and later specialized in Public health in 2023 from the Somali National University in Mogadishu. Dr. Mohamed’s career spans years of health leadership in leading continuing medical education(CME) and training department at Somali Medical Association where he is served as the CME and Research secretary from 2023 to 2025. Currently, Dr. Mohamed serves as the Executive Director of “Voice for Health-Somalia” platform to foster dialogue and collaboration to strengthen health systems in Somalia.

Anam Muse, MPH Epidemiologist
Anam Muse holds a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and is deeply passionate about public health. She has built her career around serving communities by tracking disease outbreaks, developing and implementing health programs, and advocating for policies that improve public well-being. With a strong background in disease surveillance and community outreach, Anam is committed to using evidence-based approaches to enhance health outcomes. She is especially dedicated to health education, working to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to advocate for themselves and their loved ones.
Lindora Kolu Howard-Diawara, M.A. International Peace Studies. Founder & Executive Director of B4P CODEFOUND
Lindora Kolu Howard-Diawara is from West Africa, specifically Liberia. She moved to Columbus to re-unite with her family in 2016 after obtaining her Master of Arts degree in International Peace Studies with emphasis on Policy as well as Organizational Leadership and management from the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies situated at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Liberia in 2009 while actively continuing her work as a professional.
She is a civil society, women rights, and peace activists; an entrepreneur as well as the Founder and Executive Director of the Business for Peace Community Development Foundation (B4P CODEFOUND)- an International Organization founded in Ohio and legally registered in Liberia. Lindora has over 20 years of experience in the fields of Peacebuilding and Development and has not only actively worked or engaged with multiple stakeholders in Liberia but across West Africa and other parts of the world.
She also works with the City of Columbus’ Department of Neighborhoods as the Community Relations Coordinator of the New American Program-One that helps strengthen support for immigrants, refugees and new comers.
Lindora grew up in Liberia. Experienced the civil war at the age of 13, became a change agent at age 22 and has remained engaged since. She is married to a Malian, has lived in Mali, and speaks both the English and French languages in addition to local vernaculars spoken in Liberia and Mali.
Jatu Boikai, MSN, RNC-OB, C-EFM, CLC
Jatu Boikai grew up in the Bronx NY, raised as a first generation American child of immigrant parents from Liberia, west Africa. Jatu has been a registered nurse for 12+ years and has been in healthcare for over 18 years. Jatu’s passion is women’s health and she has spent the majority of her nursing career in labor and delivery and mother infant nurse roles. Jatu holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership. For the past 7 years, Jatu has held several leadership positions in nursing and she is currently the Nurse Manager of Maternity Services at Mount Carmel Grove City and the Founder/Executive Director of mOBiNurses Inc, a perinatal support and advocacy organization. Jatu is a passionate advocate for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Justice among healthcare professionals as she is well aware that communities are better served when they are well represented in the industries that provide services to those communities. Lastly, Jatu is a doctoral candidate at Colorado Christian University, a wife, and the mother of 3 children under the age of 6.
